Artist Statement

My work is about the dream world. I get many ideas from my dreams. I want the viewer to determine his or her own interpretation of my work. We all have our own subconscious thoughts, so everyone views my work in his or her own way. Our subconscious thoughts come together for a brief moment while viewing art.

Bio

A native of Fort Wayne, Indiana. Graduate of Purdue University, Bachelors degree in Psychology with a concentration in Humanities and Fine Art. I have studied under twenty plus artists in the last five years including: Peter Rubino, Chris Riccardo, Ron Korczynski, Debbie Weinstein and Brian Somerville.

Studied sculpture in Florence, Italy and Paris, France. Lived in Puerto Rico for four months, traveled to Greece, England, France, Italy, Jamaica, Mexico, Virgin Islands, Bermuda, Puerto Rico and Costa Rica. All of these places have had an influence on my
work, from the bright colors of Mexico, Costa Rica and the Islands to the robustness of the sculpture in France and Italy

Exhibition Vivid Arts Network, Ferrara, Italy, "Earth Vortices", May 12th through May 19, 2012. Touring Italy for one year after show. "Hands", "Hands 2" and "Dreamer". This exhibition starts their tour in Florence, Italy and then travels to Rome, London,
Switzerland and Shanghai before returning to Italy.

Exhibition Vivid Arts Network, Toronto, Canada, "Limitless Expressions", July 17 through July 29, 2012.
This exhibition will travel throughout Canada for a year.
